# Troubleshooting

> Resolve common connection, File access, and export problems.

## Stewdio tools are missing

Check that Stewdio is enabled in your assistant. Follow the reload or reconnect instructions for your assistant in the [installation guide](https://github.com/StewdioAI/plugin/blob/main/INSTALL.md), then ask it to list your Stewdio Files again.

## Sign-in fails or expires

Reconnect Stewdio through your assistant's sign-in flow. Use the Stewdio account that owns the File you want to open.

## A File is missing or access is denied

Confirm that you are signed in with the intended account and that you have an active membership in the File's organization. If creating or editing a File fails, check the organization's Stewdio plan.

## The embedded editor or preview does not appear

Embedded views depend on your assistant. Open the File in the [Stewdio web application](https://www.stewdio.ai/home/files) to continue working.

## Export is unavailable

Select a composition to find **Export** in the inspector. If the embedded editor asks you to export externally, open the File in Stewdio. See [exporting](/guides/exporting) for the full workflow.

## Get help

Contact [Stewdio support](https://www.stewdio.ai/support) with your assistant name, what you were trying to do, and the error message. Include a screenshot if it helps explain the problem.
